Both incidents took place in Springfield.
The Springfield Police traffic unit said one incident took place around 2:40 am., Saturday, May 28, in the 500 block of Main Street in the South End in which a pedestrian was hit by two vehicles who both fled the scene, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police.
The pedestrian, an adult man, suffered serious injuries, Walsh said.
The second driver involved has been identified but not apprehended, he added.
Police are seeking your help with any information that can help investigators locate a believed to be white sedan involved or the driver of that first vehicle that struck the pedestrian and drove off, Walsh said.
The traffic unit is also seeking the public’s help to identify the rider or motorcycle/dirt bike involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a juvenile on Friday, May 20 around 5:15 p.m.
